EUROPEAN LOCATIONS
Porto
After already visiting Portugal in Lisbon we had high expectations for Porto, and I can say it did not let us down. A harbour town split into two by the Douro River which meets the Atlantic Ocean, known famously for its drink, Port, was a city packed full of culture and friendly locals, not to mention the
numerous excellent restuarant’s and bars. The river really does make this city a very scenic place and well worth a visit especially if you like tasting wines and delicious port.
Cappadocia
One of our highlights whilst travelling Turkey definitley has to be exploring Cappadocia. There is more to Cappadocia than just the hot air balloons even though they do create an amazing backdrop view for your travel photo's. We unfortunatley couldn't get our ballon ride booked in time but instead we did roam the Goreme National Park on quad bikes which was epic! Now where ever we travel in future I will be always checking for quad bikes for hire, LOL!
